This Cookie Policy explains how Baltego ("Baltego", "we", "us" or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit our website.
Baltego is a food-tech platform that helps food businesses in Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia turn surplus and unsold products into additional revenue.
This policy explains what cookies are, why we use them, what categories we use, and how you can manage your preferences.

We currently use the following categories. This list reflects our actual technical implementation — we don't describe categories, providers or purposes that don't apply to this website.
Necessary cookies
These are required for the website to function properly. We use them to remember your language, remember your cookie preferences, and keep our internal admin tools secure. These cannot be disabled through our cookie preference tool, because the website may not work correctly without them.
Analytics cookies
Where enabled and with your consent, we use first-party, session-based browser storage to understand which pages and marketing channels bring visitors to our website, so we can improve it. We do not currently use a third-party analytics tool such as Google Analytics. If we introduce one in the future, it will be gated by this same consent choice, and we will update this policy first.
Marketing cookies
We do not currently use any marketing or advertising cookies, such as the Meta (Facebook) Pixel. Our consent system already supports this category so that, if we introduce advertising tracking in the future, it will not activate until you give marketing consent — and we will update this policy to describe it before that happens.
4. Your cookie choices
When you first visit our website, you can choose whether to allow optional cookies. You can:

You can change your preferences at any time by selecting "Cookie settings" in the website footer.
Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before your withdrawal.
5. Third-party services
Some necessary cookies are set by third-party infrastructure we rely on to run the website securely. For example, Supabase — our backend provider — sets authentication cookies when someone signs in to our internal admin tools. These are not set for visitors browsing the public website.
Beyond what is listed in the table below, we do not use any third-party analytics or advertising services on this website. If that changes, we will update this policy first.
